THE BRIEF MANIFESTO OF PAKISTAN HUMAN RIGHTS PARTY

HISTORY

 

Renowned human rights and political activist Mr. Khalid Aftab Sulehri along with other Social Activist and friends founded Pakistan Human Rights Party (Pakistan Insani Haqook Party) On 14 August 2012.
Pakistan Insani Haqook Party (PIHP) is a committed political party to promote its struggle for the protection and promotion of the fundamental rights of the People of Pakistan. We are more of human rights activists and political workers rather than politicians.

The Party participated in the General Election 2013 and local bodies’ election 2015. It has won 14 seats including two chairmen and two vice chairmen in the district assemblies in the province of Punjab.

PHILOSOPHY OF THE PARTY

  • Pakistan for all—– Human Rights for all
  • Win enough seats in both House of Representatives in the National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan
  • Originate and support legislation and policies that will insure basic fundamental human rights and the pursuit of happiness for all citizens of the country.

 

The Basic Principles for the Human Rights Party are as follows:

  1. All fundamental human rights must be enjoyed by every citizen of Pakistan
  2. All types of discrimination, in any form, must be eliminated.
  3. All individuals must have access to quality health care and clean water.
  4. All individuals must have access to decent personal housing alternatives.
  5. All individuals must have access to quality educational opportunities.
  6. All individuals must have access to viable employment opportunities.
  7. All individuals must have access to justice in the courts.
  8. All disabled individuals must have adequate resources to insure their pursuit of happiness.
  9. All retired individuals must have adequate resources to insure their pursuit of happiness.
  10. Revenues from all forms of taxation must be adequate to fully fund all of the above.
  11. All individuals must have access to opportunities to development.

 

The Party is registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan.

 

WE MUST TRY TO CREATE A SOCIETY WHERE PEOPLE CAN ONCE AGAIN LOOK FORWARD TO, NOT FEAR, THEIR PERSONAL FUTURES AND FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS
