ABOUT US
History:
The Pakistan Human Rights Party was founded on August 14, 2011, by Khalid Pervaiz Sulehri, a dedicated human rights activist. The party was established in response to the growing challenges facing Pakistan, including the erosion of justice, widespread corruption, and the lack of protection for fundamental human rights. Since its inception, PIHP has been at the forefront of advocating for social justice and human rights, working tirelessly to promote equality, freedom, and democracy in Pakistan.
The establishment of PIHP was driven by the need to address the deep-seated issues of injustice, inequality, and human rights violations in Pakistan. The party was formed to challenge the status quo, to offer a platform for those whose voices have been silenced, and to fight for the rights of every Pakistani. We aim to restore the ideals of our founding fathers, who envisioned a Pakistan where every citizen could live with dignity and freedom.
Philosophy:
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that human rights are the cornerstone of a just and democratic society. We believe that every individual, regardless of their background, deserves to live with dignity and freedom. Our commitment to these principles drives our efforts to create policies and programs that uplift the marginalized, protect the vulnerable, and ensure that the rights of all citizens are respected.
Objectives:
PIHP is committed to:
Promoting a Democratic Islamic Welfare State: Ensuring that the governance of Pakistan is in line with Islamic principles of justice, equality, and welfare for all.
Eradicating Corruption: Implementing transparent policies and systems to eliminate corruption at all levels of government and society.
Ensuring Justice for All: Reforming the judicial system to provide fair and timely justice for all citizens, regardless of their social or economic status.
Fostering National Unity: Encouraging unity among Pakistan’s diverse population, promoting a sense of common purpose and shared values.
The Pakistan Human Rights Party envisions a Pakistan where every citizen enjoys their rights without fear of discrimination or injustice.
